Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) hosted the National IT Competition 2024 for Youth with Disabilities on May 11, 2024, organized by the Department of Computer and Engineering (CES) in collaboration with the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) under the ICT Division and the Centre for Services and Information on Disability (CSID).
A total of 123 contestants from across the country participated in the event, competing in four disability categories and showcasing their outstanding ICT skills and talents. The winners of this national round will have the honor of representing Bangladesh in the International IT Competition for Youth with Disabilities, scheduled to be held in the Philippines in October 2024.This event reflects BUBT’s continued commitment to promoting inclusive education, accessibility, and empowerment for persons with disabilities through technology and innovation.
