In 2024, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), in collaboration with BUBT-TAFE, launched a structured Python Training Program designed to support lifelong learning and digital skill development among students and professionals from diverse academic backgrounds. The program was open to participants from both STEM and non-STEM disciplines, including Engineering, Business, Economics, English, and Law, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility beyond the university’s regular academic curriculum.

Program Structure 

  • Start Date: November 15, 2024

  • Total Batches: 3

  • Participants: 60 trainees in total (20 participants per batch)

  • Duration: 36 hours per batch (24 sessions × 1.5 hours)

  • Mode: In-person interactive sessions with guided laboratory practice

  • Fee: BDT 3,000 per participant

  • Facilitation: Training operations and execution were managed through BUBT-TAFE, ensuring professional coordination and certification support.
