In 2024, BUBT-TAFE introduced a structured Excel and Power BI Training Program to enhance data literacy, workplace readiness, and analytical competency among learners. The program was open to students from all academic backgrounds as well as participants from outside the university community, reflecting BUBT’s commitment to broadening access to lifelong learning opportunities. The training focused on practical skill development in spreadsheet data management, data transformation, dashboard creation, and data-driven decision-making, enabling participants to work confidently with real-world datasets and professional reporting tools. Through guided hands-on sessions, project-based assignments, and interactive demonstrations, participants gained proficiency in both fundamental and advanced analytics workflows. Upon successful completion of the course, trainees were awarded certificates recognizing their newly acquired digital and professional competencies. This initiative directly contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education by equipping learners with industry-relevant skills that support employability, professional advancement, and informed participation in a data-oriented global economy.
